Your screen flashes black, the game freezes or crashes, and Windows says the display driver recovered. This is the milder cousin of the 0x116 blue screen, with the same causes: drivers, overclocks, heat, or power.

FiveM couldn't confirm that you own GTA V (or RDR2 for RedM). The number in the error tells you why. A 500-range number usually means Cfx's servers are having trouble; other numbers usually mean a connection problem on your end.

FiveM's watchdog closed the game because it stopped responding. A frequent cause is antivirus software injecting into the game process.

FiveM crashes while loading into a server or right after you spawn. Usually a bad cache, a graphics or script mod conflicting with the server, or an outdated driver. If it only happens on one server, the server's content is the likely trigger.

The server refused to let you in on purpose. The text after 'Connection rejected by server' tells you why: you're not on the allowlist, Discord couldn't be detected, or you're banned. Your PC isn't broken.

FiveM tried to reach the server three times and got no answer. Either the server is down or blocking you, or something on your PC or network is stopping the connection. Trying a second server tells you which.

Your copy of GTA V (or FiveM itself) doesn't match the game version the server is set to. Usually fixed by letting FiveM and GTA V update. If the server is the one that's behind, only its owners can fix it.

A download from the server stopped partway through. Usually a corrupt cache file or a network hiccup.

The game lost contact with your graphics card and crashed. It doesn't mean the card was physically removed. It's usually an unstable overclock, a driver problem, or the GPU not getting enough power.

Your game has good FPS but still stutters, hitches, or the audio crackles. A driver is hogging the CPU for short bursts. LatencyMon tells you which one.

You hit Play, the launcher opens, and then the game just disappears. Usually corrupt game files, broken saved settings, the wrong graphics card on laptops, or an overlay.
